IS IT APPROPRIATE THE CONNECTION WITH THE CENTRAL STATION RECEIVER ALARM SIGNALS?
The central station receiver alarm signals is a service which is necessary now, because it helps to the proper operation of the system and the proper management of the situation in case of alarm. More specifically, the central station can inform us of a power outage in the area for low batteries in the system, for interruption of telephone connection. Also, it can inform us about which zone / zones were activated and in what order in case of alarm, call the police and other. -
Is It Appropriate The Service Of An Alarm System?
As with all systems, it is good the alarm systems be serviced once a year. Especially, if there are installed devices such as s GSM, fire detectors, external detectors etc. -
What Will Happen If There Is A Power Outage In An Area Because Of A Technical Problem Or A Malicious Action?
In case of power outage the backup battery located inside the alarm panel, turns on and keeps the system active. This battery is rechargeable and can keep the system active 8-48 hours if it is in good condition. Factors that shorten the life of a rechargeable battery are the frequent blackouts. Through the annual audits to subscribers who have service contracts, we find any malfunction and notify the owner that he should replace the battery to maintain the autonomy of the system to the desired levels. -
What Is Disarming Under Threat (DURESS ALARM);
DURESS ALARM means disarming under threat. If you coerced by a thief to disarm your alarm in order to enter in your space, you can press an easy code to disable the system. Not this one you use normally. Parallel to the deactivation of the system the central station receiver signals alerted about the incident. The station will call back to the space to check what happens. If someone responds for a minute or if someone picks up the phone and gives the threat password, then the police will be notified immediately for forced disarming. -
How Can I Check That My Alarm System Works Properly?
Arm your area, go out and after it has been armed, go in and let the alarm ringing. Check that apart from the activation of the sirens (internal – external) the strobe of the external siren lights up and that the central station receiver signals will call you to let you know in detail about the incident (which zone struck, what time, etc.) -
Can The Alarm System Be Transferred In My New House?
Certainly. All systems, whether it is wired or wireless, can be disconnected and placed in your new home. -
What Will Hapen If The Telephone Line Disconnected In Your Space Due To Technical Problem Of Malicious Action?
If the telephone line of the space disconnected, the system can not notify by telephone in case of alarm. The solution to this problem provides the installation of a special GSM phone in the alarm panel. GSM typically is programmed as backup in case of interruption of the telephone line; it sends signals to your central station receiver signals. -
Should The External Siren Be Located At A Visible Place Or Be Hidden
The external siren should be located in a visible but not easily accessible place in order to achieve maximum deterrence of would-be burglar. -
CAN I KEEP SAFE MY SPACE BEFORE SOMEONE ENTER INTO THIS?
Yes, and this is the most effective alarm system because the alarm is ringing even before the burglar get into in the space In order to achieve this, we use active infrared (BEAMS) or dual external detectors with or without microwaves. The technology we will choose depends on the individual circumstances of each space. -
IS THERE ANY WAY THE ALARM SYSTEM TO NOTIFY AND TO DETECT FOR FIRE-SMOKE?
Yes. There are special fire and smoke detectors for each case (Kitchens – Boilers – garage) that are fully compatible with the alarm system. Thus, except in the case of a burglary, alarm can inform us for fire in your space. -
CAN I ACTIVATE THE ALARM SYSTEM WHEN I AM IN MY HOME?
Yes, you can. All alarms give us the choice of total or partial arming. When you arm partially you actually arm only the perimetric detectors such as infrared beams and external detectors. So you can move safely into the space while the perimetric guarding of your space is armed. -
WHEN SHOULD I CHOOSE ONE WIRELESS ALARM SYSTEM AND WHEN ONE WIRED?
Usually we choose wireless alarm system when the space is inhabited or ready – painted and it has not predicted the necessary wiring for alarm system. The cost of wireless devices is somewhat higher but saves on labor costs since it is much easier to install. -
WHAT DOES IT MEANTHE TERM «NO TEST»;
When your alarm system is in a state of «No test» for the Central station receiver alarm signals, it means that the daily Test signal has not emitted. This signal is emitted daily in order to realize its good operation. Therefore, when your system is in this state, there is a problem either with your system or with the communication channel that used for sending signals (telephone, GSM, Forthnet etc.) -
IS THERE ANY DANGER OF RADIATION THAT EMITTED BY A WIRELESS ALARM SYSTEM?
The radiation emitted is less than 10mW, a value which is lower than the limits established by the European Union, and therefore absolutely safe in any case. To give an understandable example of the radiation level is 100 times lower than the radiation by a mobile phone in operation.
